Charlize Theron – Vogue UK – May 2012

With buzz surrounding Charlize (36) after recently announcing a few weeks ago she adopted a baby boy name Jackson who is now 4 months old, she is primarily promoting her role as the villain in Snow White and the Huntsman which premieres June 1st.

Emma Watson – Cover of Vogue UK – December 2010

A new look, a new style and a career that has had the reins loosen a bit it seems.  Emma Watson shines as the cover girl for Vogue UK’s December 2010 issue.  Immediately absent are her shoulder length locks and school girl looks. With a bit of a nod to Twiggy with her pixie-do and short mod dresses, Watson (photographed by Mario Testino) exudes an entirely new persona.

Easy Breezy

September is in full swing and with it the breezes may be slightly more chilly and the rain may say hello a bit more.  Anna Maria Jagodzinska poses in such casual location, but at the same time looking all the bit lovely and feminine in Vogue UK for their October 2010 issue. Photographed by Laura Sciacovelli, these images invoke a bit of wanderlust in me as I am anxious to get out of town for a bit. 

Portland and a bit of pampering and shopping is calling my name tomorrow, and oh how I have longed for a relaxing day of strolling through the city, grabbing a cup of tea to sip on and stopping into some of my much loved boutiques.  Of course, Nordstrom will also be a stop, as I am looking to finally purchase the perfume I have been out of for much too long.

I do hope your Monday has been going well and the rest of the week is productive and paced exactly as you would like it.

Cheryl Cole – Vogue UK – October 2010

With the beauty of a spring-like cover, Cheryl Cole graces the cover of Vogue UK’s October issue looking absolutely gorgeous. In the above photo she reminds me of a glammed up Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz with her endless gams topped off with red platform pumps. Photographed by Peter Demarchelier, Cheryl’s second cover of Vogue is one that captures her natural beauty quite well and to read her interview and view even more simple, yet stunning photos, be sure to pick up a copy when it hits newsstands on September 9th.

A Fashionable Wine Country Visit

Photographed by Arthur Elgort for Vogue UK in August of 2009, model Anja Rubik demonstrates the glamour and beauty one can exude and be a part of while visiting the vineyards in California.

The particular editorial immediately grabbed my attention as I love frequenting the local wineries. One of the most enjoyable things to do, is to bring your closest friends or your significant other and wipe clean an entire afternoon.  Begin at one winery and just take your time, get to know the wine maker, ask for a tour of the winery if they aren’t busy and try as many wines as possible, asking the owner to describe what you are tasting, so that you can verbalize it yourself later.  Many wineries have seating areas outside as you see above so be sure to take advantage of them.  And ultimately, when you find a wine you like, purchase it.  There is nothing more nerve wracking for a dinner party when you’re serving wine and you don’t know how it tastes.

Enjoy perusing through the remaining photos and be sure to take advantage of the next opportunity to go wine tasting. I have a feeling you won’t regret it.

Cameron Diaz - Vogue UK – July 2010

The casual, carefree beauty Cameron Diaz shines on the Vogue UK cover for the July issue.  As the promotions parade begins for her upcoming movie with Tom Cruise, Knight and Day, the  37-year-old actress has a candid conversation about aging.  She reveals her secrets for continuing to look radiant (her responses are on listed one of the images below),  her thoughts on a satisfied life, working with her ex Justin Timberlake and handling the pressure of aging in Hollywood.  Without question, Diaz proves that vitality and beauty involve laughter, not taking yourself too seriously and following your own path.  Regan Cameron captures her relaxed summer style quiet well, I think.  Have a look for yourself and read more of the article by clicking here.
