Charlize Theron – Vogue UK – May 2012

With buzz surrounding Charlize (36) after recently announcing a few weeks ago she adopted a baby boy name Jackson who is now 4 months old, she is primarily promoting her role as the villain in Snow White and the Huntsman which premieres June 1st.

Rules of Style – Charlize Theron

One of the simplest ways to learn what type of style, cuts and textures look best on your body is to seek out a celebrity, model or person who is regularly photographed that has similar measurements and style preferences to your own.

With that said, I’m tall – 5’10” and while I wearing dresses, I am most comfortable in my jeans paired with fabulously tall heels.  So when I began investigating Charlize Theron’s style, I was instantly mesmerized.

Charlize Theron, the former model turned Oscar winning actress has the legs that many of us would die for. Standing at 5’9”, Theron takes advantage of her lengthy assets regularly by wearing skinny jeans and heels. What caught my attention as I was putting together this post is that she doesn’t let her style fade while she travels.  Regularly, you will see her donning pumps, a neutral wardrobe and travel tote, along with stylish shades. With some help from her stylist Leslie Fremar (also stylist to Julianne Moore), Theron certainly has figured what flatters her physique.

Charlize Theron – Elle France – July 2010

The long legged beauty is reminding us again why she is such a beautiful force to be reckoned with in the pages of Elle France’s July issue, photographed by Dusan Reljin.  I can remember watching Cider House Rules and while Charlize Theron isn’t the petite, innocent, high pitched actress we see so often, it was a welcomed change. 

Her talent, her recognizable voice and her svelte look is something that I am always drawn to when it comes to learning about fashion and how it should be worn.  At the age of 34, standing 5’9”, she, like so many other lanky stars in their 30s and beyond continues to look ravishing and bring talent to the screen each time they choose to take a roll.
