An Escape To London

Located in Knightsbridge and dating back to 1880s, this home now includes ample oversized plush sofas, a modern soaker tub, carefully selected wall decor and unique and beckoning chairs throughout. Respecting your body no matter what you age is a sign of great self-respect. Christy Turlington’s photo shoot for Elle France’s December 2010 issue while seemingly simple, at its core is radiant. Her long limbs, gorgeous smile, muted feminine style and playful approach almost disguise her sage age if it weren’t for the self-assurance that emanates from the page.

With a balanced mixture of antique and comfort, the crisp, clean white walls, a large soaking tub and two fireplaces, make her home a place I would dream of coming home to at the end of a long week with an opportunity to curl up with a book, enjoy lovely company and a home cooked meal or two. Angelina Jolie – Cover Vogue US – December 2010

Angelina Jolie takes the cover of Vogue US’s December issue as her new film with Johnny Depp, The Tourist,  hits theaters December 10th. Photographed by Mario Testino, she continues to remind us of her photogenic abilities in a suit short set, corsets and gowns. The December issue is scheduled to hit newsstands November 23rd.

In the ubiquitous gold Balmain dress, Anne Hathaway appears fierce, but at the same time very vulnerable on the cover of ElleUK’s December 2010 issue. Photographed by David Slijper, her teased tresses and brooding eye make-up demonstrate her seemingly endless versatility going from feminine on the cover of November’s Vogue US issue compared to her strikingly stunning pose’s exhibited here.

A new look, a new style and a career that has had the reins loosen a bit it seems.  Emma Watson shines as the cover girl for Vogue UK’s December 2010 issue.  Immediately absent are her shoulder length locks and school girl looks. With a bit of a nod to Twiggy with her pixie-do and short mod dresses, Watson (photographed by Mario Testino) exudes an entirely new persona.
