Sex And The City – 2 DVD Released!

The ladies are available on October 26. The Sex and the City 2 DVD is finally available.  And if you’re like me, another extra dose of fashion, luxury and fantasy are always something I enjoy getting lost in on a rainy day when I happen to be home alone.  Between the impressive decor, catchy voice-overs and all of the glorious fashion, I know this DVD will be receiving quite a bit of play time in my house.

Fashion’s Night Out Opening Ceremony 2010

The fashion, the stars, and the incredible official opening ceremonies of Fashion’s Night Out around the world kicked off with a CBS televised event September 7th at the New York Fashion Week’s new location – Lincoln Center.  Set your DVRs to watch the entire show Tuesday, September 14th on CBS.

The largest public fashion show in New York history, this event appeared to whet the appetite for all those who love and appreciate fashion.  Sponsored by Vogue magazine and Spec Entertainment, the event drew 1500 ticketed guests to the plaza at Lincoln Center.  One hundred and fifty of the world’s top models opened and closed the ceremonies which began with the arrival of the most well-known names in the modeling industry stepping off of a double-decker bus while the tune of “Empire State of Mind” played for the audience.

Fall fashions were on display as they were paraded throughout the many runways at the plaza. To read more about all of the designs and celebrities that were spotted, click here. All in all, it appeared to be an amazing night to be in New York, and I can’t imagine a better way to begin what is fast becoming one of the most magical days in the fashion industry. A Savory Sunday Morning

The weekend is coming to a close and with it the end of my holiday vacation. While I am filled with a bit of melancholy, I am also thankful to have had the time to ramp up for the new year, become focused on what I want to accomplish this year, and be reminded of everything I have to be thankful for. I feel re-energerized and ready to take on whatever 2010 has to offer and maybe offer a bit of extra pizazz myself by adding a little of my own elbow grease.

So I decided to start this last day of leisure with a warm cup of tea, Charles Osgood and CBS Sunday Morning, and my dogs curled up by either of my sides. Hopefully you too can find time to drink in the restful moments before we all jump head first in to what I know will be a exquisite year.
