Style Inspiration: Red, White and Blue

With all the Olympic excitement both on the web, Twitter, television and newspapers, it’s hard not to be drawn in and feel a surge of energy, motivation and enthusiasm for your home country. Fortunately, as I pay homage to the United States I can also tip my hat to Great Britain and France as I soon will be fortunate to be on their soil.

Beginning with the classic blue jeans and white shirt, to simple pops or red via accessories and shoes or an entire dress, the melange of red, white and blue, work wonderfully together in a variety of combinations. Have a look.

Monique Lhuillier – Fall 2011 RTW

Leopards, lace and lovely Valentine’s Day red. After all, Monique Lhuillier’s Fall 2011 ready-to-wear collection debuted on February 14th.  Twitter was aflutter last night after her show hit the runway due to the leopard full length gown, the vibrant red and consistent ladylike silhouettes.  Take a look and let me know what you think.
