Nicole Kidman – Cover Harper’s Bazaar US – February 2011

On the February 2011 cover of Harper’s Bazaar US, Nicole Kidman makes the gardener in me get a little more excited for spring.  Photographed by Alexi Lubomirski and styled by Julie von Boehm in this outdoor shoot, Nicole looks quite beautiful as she beings to promote her upcoming movies Rabbit Hole and Just Go With It.  Her co-star in Just Go With It, Jennifer Aniston interviews Kidman for this issue which provokes discussions on meeting Keith Urban, marriage, and the joy of lightening up a bit (view a few quotes from the interview here).

Take Me To France

In Elle France’s September 2010 issue Coco Rocha is full of joie de vivre as she poses in photo after photo for Alex Cayley. Clothed in some of the finest wares of the season, she gives even more reason as to why a trip to France is moving up on my priority list.

The Power And Versatility Of Nude

In nude designs beginning with the heels, don’t forget the fishnets, beautiful dresses, plush coats, undergarments and more, model Anja Rubik serves as a reminder in Vogue Latin America October 2010 the powers of such a neutral color. Photographed by Marcin Tyszka, part of me just wants to cozy up in the oversized knits, while the other part of me wants to pull off a Carrie moment (a la Sex and the City – first season) in the above short design.

Carey Mulligan – Vogue US – October 2010

One film that I am quite intrigued by and anxious to go see due to the ensemble cast (Michael Douglas, Shia LaBeouf, Josh Brolin, Frank Langella, and October’s Vogue cover girl Carey Mulligan), economic and headline timeliness and buzz at the Cannes Film Festival is Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps (premiering September 24 in the states). Now prior to watching it, I have vowed to myself that I will watch the prequel starring Douglas Wall Street, but I must say the casting of Carey Mulligan, who was impressive in the An Education, caught my attention immediately.

So upon learning a few months ago that she would be the cover girl of the upcoming October Vogue US I was again curious to see what the photos would look like. Needless to say, with the creative eye of photographer Peter Lindbergh and fashion editor Grace Coddington, it is sophisticated, yet playful, stylish, yet flirty. Wearing a Chanel Haute Couture dress from their 2010 Fall collection on the cover, Mulligan reminds readers again why she is such a unique beauty. Gorgeous in the Garden

Chanel Iman, photographed by Doug English and styled by James Worthington DeMolet, is the cover girl for the summer issue of The Block.  Wearing designs from Miu Miu and Viktor & Rolf, as well as others, she brings even more beauty to Mother Nature’s landscaped back yard.
