2010 Primetime Emmy Red Carpet

The red carpet for the 2010 Primetime Emmy Awards in front of the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles was flooded with gowns of navy, champagne, white and shades of purple. A very subdued and classic Hollywood approach seemed to be the theme, and I found it hard to narrow down my favorites to show you.  So below is a lengthy list of gorgeous ensembles that caught my eye from the simply stunning Claire Danes in Armani Prive to Emily Deschanel in Max Azaria Atelier. A Beautiful Pair - Matthew Morrison and Vogue

Glee’s episode Tuesday, May 25, on Fox will include attention given to the creatively talented Lady Gaga.  This will be one episode, along with the Madonna tribute which aired in April, that I will have to DVR. There is just something about music and dancing that moves my soul. 

My interest was piqued even more when I received my Vogue US June issue which included Glee’s Matthew Morrison. I have to admit, I was swooning just a bit at his editorial with bikini-body-perfect model Raquel Zimmermann.  Together they demonstrate on a yacht in St. Barth’s how casual and cool lounging can be. Word has it that the 31-year-old spent the three days prior to the photo shoot eating only sweet potatoes as they are supposed to draw all excess water out of the skin.  Doesn’t sound like much fun, but I have to say, he looks smashing!  Click here to see even more images.
