Thursday Treasures
Upon arriving home last night after being up and going since the early hours of the morning, I was aching to get to bed, to get back to a slower schedule, but at the same time I realized that I very seldom looked at a clock yesterday except to make sure I wasn’t late for my next appointment. At that moment, I realized what better way to spend a day of work than to be so engrossed that time vanishes. So I am thankful and here are a few of the events that have made this past week a pleasure to reflect upon . . .
. . . a good belly laugh . . .
. . . enjoying the fruits of organization . . .
. . . compelling myself to work out in the early morning hours . . .
. . . dependable, enjoyable reruns . . .
. . . and nibbling on something sweet.
How has your week been? Have you been able to take a few moments for yourself? I would love to hear what you are grateful for this week. After all, the more we appreciate the more we receive to appreciate. Here’s to a Thursday full of even more beautiful moments to treasure.

Sometimes we get so caught up in the busy-ness of life that we forget to remember the small things - the things that make life worth living and we take for granted. Thank you for the reminder and I am especially partial to the last one lol
My week has been pretty good so far. I just got home and reluctantly am getting back to my schedule. I am getting ready for my morning jog, so I am grateful that my alarm clock went off and I woke up feeling refreshed and ready to start the day!
I'm extremely thankful for the break we've had in the weather. It went from being in the 100's to 80's for a few days. I got a chance to go out and enjoy it yesterday...and will be doing the same today. By the way - love Frasier!

I'm grateful to the U.S. government for finally granting hubby's visa!

I agree with so many of these, but there is nothing--absolutely nothing--better than a real, full belly laugh. All the better if you actually end up crying. It is one of the things that makes life really worth living.
I've had a busy week too running around with doctors appointments and work and helping my best friend who has brain cancer. But overall it's been a good week. I've managed to carve out some me time and have let my mind wander off to beautiful places. I'm grateful for that, my health, and my wonderful family & friends. And lastly I'm grateful that the weather is finally gorgeous again after days of cold & rain.
Hope you have a wonderful day! xoxo
Happy Thursday to you! The cake in that last picture... it's not even 8am and I'm craving some sugar ;)

Happy Thursday, sounds like you're having a wonderfully productive week! I've been very busy this week, but have made the time to read your posts, and as always, they are inspiring and beatiful...so today I'm grateful for your lovely blog :)
Sounds like your life is moving at a pretty hectic clip. I'm admiring you for working out in the mornings--I have fallen off the wagon and need to get back with it--the harsh reality of a crazy schedule kind of overwhelmed me this week! I thought of you last night as I sat down to a very fancy wine tasting!
Hope you are happy & well Shannon!

I'm grateful to have found your blog...I have always believed in the "Simple Things In Life" - That might have to be my next blog post. I had a great day yesterday despite getting up at 4 AM (couldn't sleep), had a productive day at work and went to spend an early evening with a great friend who go engaged. We went to interior design school together and we're going through paint swatches for their new loft downtown. Came home and caught up on my shows and passed out. It was a full day but I felt good because it was productive. Haven't had one of those in a while LOL! Thanks for making us see the glass is half full. I passed your blog on to all my friends so they can be inspired.
I love love love fraiser!!! So funny and ridiculous how those two brothers turned out amazingly different than their father! :) I also adore huge belly laughs, which sometimes result from watching fraiser! :)
