A Restful Beach House
With ample natural lighting, a foundation of classic white and touches of green and splashes of orange, this beach house near Oyster Bay, New York, would certainly calm your soul and immediately draw a sigh of relief as the burdens of the work week easily float away. Interior designer Christina Murphy’s work is exquisite and she creates a simplicity that is welcomed in a home away from home. If you’d like to read more about her inspiration and ideas, read the entire interview here.
As the work week begins today, just keep in mind, a productive five days makes for an even lovelier two day weekend, and if this getaway locale was something I was able to look forward to at the end of the week, I too know I’d make darn good and sure it was a very productive week so I could enjoy myself all the more. Enjoy your day.

Restful indeed....I love the green pallet and those painted(?) lily pad floors are very cool! Great way to add pattern to an otherwise solid interior.
