Sheryl Crow’s New York Flat
In the July issue of Elle magazine, Sheryl Crow opens up her New York City flat for their readers. The atmosphere seems to evoke a very honest and slightly earthy feel as Sheryl’s placement of family photos and antiques fill each space just enough, but not too much to overwhelm. Open and free (exposed brick walls and beams) is the quality this home evokes, and while I’m not usually a fan of eclectic decor, I’m drawn to this space. Photographed by Paul Costello, Sheryl poses in most of frames while wearing beautiful designs (Ralph Lauren – Blue Label and Roberto Cavalli to name a few), and in a handful of photos, with her son, Wyatt, and friend Mariska Hargitay with her son August.
A childhood photo of Crow’s father paired with an antique eye chart (“It still lights up!”).
What do you think, could you be inspired to write the beautiful music Sheryl creates in this home? Do tell. Have a magnificent weekend my lovely readers. I’m so happy you’ve stopped by and hope you’ve found a bit more inspiration to create the life you dream to live. Ciao!
P.S. Don’t you just love her sequin pants in this last photo? The beauty of having gorgeous thin gams.

I always adored Sheryl's effortless style...and you can say that about her home as well. I must say I'm a little proud of that, her best friend /Mariska Hargitay/ is half Hungarian :-)
Love your posts!
Have a lovely weekend my dear friend!

I love the Cavalli lace dress. Is that 2010? Can't find it on his web site.
Sacheverell - Oh, my mistake for assuming - yes, this was in the July 2010 issue.
