A Chandelier Where?
I’ve been meaning to enter HGTV’s Dream Home Giveaway, but as I write this, I haven’t yet gotten around to it. However, as I was walking away to exactly where I was on my treadmill, I watched the tour of this gorgeous home and one design idea caught my eye. While we so often see chandeliers above beds, we don’t too often find them used as a replacement for sconces above the night stand. Original and creative idea. Here are a few photos.
However, the old standby is still quite breathtaking.
I’ve recently added a non-electric chandelier above my bed and am glad I took the risk. What are some new ideas or risks you have tried in decorating your boudoir?

Good Morning Simply Luxurious:)
I love your post today and enjoyed your post about Melody Gardot. What a remarkable person. She was recently interviewed on Sunday morning, last Sunday.
i'm a big fan of the neo-baroque style...i've been thinking of ways to integrate a chandelier in my small apartment...these pics are really inspirational! thanks for sharing!
I do love that chandelier against the brick and have been wanting to put one in my bedroom--I have a very high upwardly sloping ceiling and worry about earthquakes, so I've been dragging my feet on it, but still...chandeliers are so pretty!

Beautiful images!! I love chandeliers and unique lighting!
Oh my goodness, the decor of these images are breath-taking. I love french aristocratic influences when it comes to home interior decor. I am glad you committed to the Chandelier, they make all the more difference in a bland room!
you have such a cool blog...i look foward to reading it regularly

I LOVE chandeliers and want to use them every where. I'm thinking about something really over the top in my stair well/hall. Great inspiration here. And thanks for visiting my blog and commenting!
Love this idea! Those white rooms are beautiful...the one with the exposed brick is amazing!! Thanks for stopping by my blog :) I'll be back!
