Thursday Treasures

The week has brought with it a change of routine which is always welcomed as a way to remind us why we live the lives we do.  Thankfully, I am appreciating my regular days and while enjoying these past few hectic, but memorable days, I am very much looking forward to getting back to what I know.  Along with this realization has come some other wonderful treasures . . .

  . . . having the ability to laugh at myself . . .

 

 

. . . discovering a new perfume (or two) . . .

 

. . . finding and finally enjoying my travel pajamas . . .

 

. . . unexpectedly having more than enough energy to make it through the day . . .

 

 

. . . and the unharnessed excitement for what is next to come.

Twirled

Recently, Kate Spade New York released Twirl, their most recent fragrance, and while I’m quite the traditionalist when it comes to my scent (Chanel No. 5), I can’t help but be attracted to the simple, yet eye-catching packaging.  Described as having pink watermelon mingled with blackberry and red currant, combined with a heart of fresh flowers including orange blossom, star jasmine, tiare flower and sweet magnolia and finished with luminous musks and a touch of French macaron (straight from the patisserie, of course), I became a goner as soon as  they included a patisserie in the description. Truly though, next week when I’m at Nordstrom, I do believe I will be stopping by the Kate Spade perfume counter to see if I my nose appreciates it as much as my eyes do.
