Classically Grand

Rob Lowe and his wife Sheryl’s home near Santa Barbara is a Georgian-style 20 room estate that was designed to resemble homes you might see in Mount Vernon, Virginia, where Lowe grew up.  With the help of architect Don Nulty, interior designer David Phoenix, landscape architect Mark Rios and feng shui master David Cho, the finished product reveals immaculate landscaped lawns, a crisp white palette to display their gypsy-travel treasures, and a view of the Pacific Ocean from their master suite that almost ensures sweet dreams.  Shown in Architectural Digest’s November 2010 issue, click here to read the entire article.

Georgia May Jagger – Harper’s Bazaar US – November 2010

When I arrived at home yesterday, I found the November issue of Harper’s Bazaar popping out of my mail drop and the cover caught my eye (last photo).  I had to show you the beautiful images captured of Georgia May Jagger by Hedi Slimane. The architecture in which she posed is simply stunning in its own right, but Georgia’s unique beauty certainly stands out.

Architect David Mann created a rich, modern, sophisticated home in this Manhattan apartment found in House Beautiful’s November issue. Full of creativity, yet simplicity, this abode would be some place where my mind could be cleared, my stress could stay at the doorstep and I could just relax.  How about you? What do you think?

Anne Hathaway –Vogue US Cover – November 2010

Upon seeing just a peek at the November issue of Vogue US, I was smitten. Photographed by Mario Testino, Anne Hathaway looks absolutely gorgeous. Beginning her rendezvous with the press for her new film Love and Other Drugs who she co-stars with Jake Gyllenhaal, set to release November 24th, Anne Hathaway will have me anxiously waiting for my copy to arrive in the mail.
