Manhattan Simplicity

A European aesthetic was the intention when Steven Harris Architects renovated a series of window-laden condominiums on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, specifically 54 Bond Street. The Bouwerie Lane Building is known as one of the city’s most significant cast-iron architectural landmarks and with the renovation becomes even more of an attraction. With crisp, calm neutrals, a less is more approach and unadorned windows, one is greeted immediately about the amount of natural light streaming into each room. Take a look inside.
