The Weekend

What a wonderful week it has been, earning a few days of relaxing, playing each moment by ear and simply enjoying the first weekend of the year.  I look forward to easing into my Saturday with a late morning yoga class, followed by an opportunity to sit down and watch a new episode of Barefoot Contessa. New books and magazines have landed in my mailbox, so I will be pleasantly inundated with endless reading. One of the books I am eagerly devouring at the moment and will be reviewing this coming Tuesday, looks to be a book simply luxurious life readers will find very fitting for their lives and I look forward to sharing it with you soon. (Currently, I have underlines and exclamation points everywhere – all for very good reasons.)

I would like to thank all of my readers this week for making this one of the best weeks to begin a new year that I’ve had personally and as a blogger.  Thank you for visiting The Simply Luxurious Life, tweeting about posts, taking time to communicate with me (whether it be via email, Twitter or by leaving your thoughts as a comment) and, if you’ve only just found the blog, for following, subscribing or simply just saying hello.  Your friendliness and cheerfulness as we all step out and begin determined to make 2011 a year that will be even better than we had hoped is what I enjoy about my readers. Being surrounded by optimistic, hopeful people is a very powerful thing.  So thank you very much.

Looking Ahead To A Simply Amazing 2011

The past year of 2010 was full of so many unexpected and wonderful moments.  It will be a year I look back fondly on. And as I look ahead to 2011, I can’t help but become filled with great anticipation.  I have no doubt that it will be a simply amazing year. 

And if you too are hoping it will be as such,  The Simply Luxurious Life’s quarterly newsletter was just sent out, titled Creating A Simply Luxurious Year. Full of a detailed three month plan on how to create the foundation for a year that will be, with determination and focus, a simply luxurious year.
