~My Simpler Life created by Beth Dargis

With a series focused on “Moving Toward Simplicity”, founder of My Simpler Life blog Beth Dargis, walks her readers through a different question to ponder and apply to their lives in order to help them create a more simple, yet fulfilling life.

~Fashion Magazine

~Vogue Paris in English

Last week it was announced that Vogue Paris’ website can now be read en anglais (in English). Oh la la! Now another fashionable website to frequent.

~Shopping

~Madewell

For lovers of J.Crew, you may already know about Madewell; however, if you are just learning about it, let me share a bit more. Created as a concept store owned by J.Crew, Madewell caters to a “younger” audience, but rest assured, there are certainly tops, tee shirts and dresses that are perfect to check out as you shop for your summer wardrobe no matter what your age.

-Tom Ford Spring 2012 Footwear

With chic, classic glamour, Tom Ford’s footwear collection elevates, but doesn’t overpower whatever dress, pant or ensemble it is paired with. Fun and flirty, the ankle wrap and single toe strap will remain fashionable for years to come.

~Be Your Own Decorator: Taking Inspiration and Cues from Today’s Top Designers by Susanna Salk

Just released earlier this month, Susanna Salk’s resourceful decor book is full of stunning rooms styled by some of the country’s top and well-known interior decorators – Kelly Wearstler, Bunny Williams, Nate Berkus, Mary McDonald, just to name a few. Described as a “Why Not?” book, I couldn’t agree more with their approach, as it reveals ideas to try as you tackle the idea of changing the look of your home. Organized into chapters about balance, color, mixing, accessorizing, arrangements, rule-breaking and whimsy, this is a wonderful book to seek out when you are in need of interior inspiration.

~Rhubarb Crisp from Tartelette blog
When I think of spring, I think of rhubarb.  It is the first perennial to pop up in my garden, and it doesn’t take long for me to create my favorite dessert – strawberry rhubarb tarts. So when I came across Tartelette’s recipe for Rhubarb Crisp, I had to save the recipe. Yum!
