Jason Wu – Spring/Summer 2012
With a similar color palette as previous collections, Jason Wu’s Spring/Summer 2012 designs also included cotton-candy pink, bright yellow alongside his classic grays, subtle navy shades and sophisticated, modern elegance that revealed feathers beads and pearls. Said to have been inspired by “pop art”, Wu cinched the waists with narrow belts and ties, pulled back the models hair into messy spiky updos and sent them down the runway with bright tangerine lips as to incorporate a contemporary tone. While gams were on display, the necklines were kept very prim adhering to again an innocent feminine appeal. Click here to view the entire collection shown on September 9th in New York.
