Gucci – Spring 2011 RTW
Frida Giannini, inspired for Gucci’s spring 2011 Ready to Wear collection by the late-seventies photographs of Guy Bourdin, David Bailey, and Chris von Wangenheim for the bold color palette, most certainly caught everyone’s attention. However, her attention to detail in her multi-strappy stilettos, leather corsets, gold belts and fringed designs exuded gorgeous glamour that was simply something I couldn’t pass up. While a few of her designs are over the top, they demonstrate beautiful creativity and lovely allure. Have a look. I’d love to know what you think.
