Thursday Treasures
With Thursday’s arrival, I know that Friday is not that far behind and oh, how I am longing for the weekend. Thankfully, a few moments here and there have presented themselves to allow me to get back on track with my regular routine, as well as a few other things that made the week all the more easier to handle . . .
. . . finding time to catch my breath . . .
. . . discovering a dependable dog sitter . . .
. . . such kind compliments . . .
. . . new October magazines waiting for me after a busy weekend . . .
. . . and an opportunity to don some new leopard heels.

Ok this just confirmed that I NEED the leopard shoes that I passed up this past weekend-going to get them (hope they are still there)!

OK, what has had me humming a sweet tune? Soft cool morning and evening breezes, after a very hot 6 months, trying to live "in the flow", gratitude, and buying new autumn make-up (it's amazing how happy a new lipstick or nail varnish can make me!)
Isn't that so great about Thursdays? There is something sort of delicious about the anticipation for the weekend... so close...
Sweet tunes coming from a taste of Indian Summer in Paris; good friends in town; Velib'ing; the beautiful moon; feeling like I've actually/finally shaken those couple extra pounds (for now); having a good new book to read; and a baking class and dinner party this weekend!

i was gonna start a doggie daycare in Hoboken or NYC - it was one of my 'starter companies'

This weather we are having this week in NYC has me humming a sweet tune. I also moved into a new space that is drenched in sunlight. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world. xo Mish

Ahhhh, leopard heels. I must invest. Super cute look. I used to have a leopard print top when I was younger, I got LOADS of compliments on it, heh.

Evenings that are still warm enough to share some candlelit late-evening dinners outside; being able to cancel lunch with a business associate when I felt a time crunch and not feel guilty about it one little bit; an afternoon latte break, sitting in the sunshine with a new, crisp magazine; the smell of the first leaves on the ground as I stepped on them and they crunched. Love the leopard heels - chic, darling, chic! xo
Heels, flats, clutches, cardis--I am all about the leopard this fall, although I won't be wearing them all at the same time!
