Julie Vos Jewelry Giveaway!

One of the few pieces of jewelry I have been wanting to add to my wardrobe is a long silver link necklace, and recently, I was fortunate enough to discover exactly what I wanted.

Mentioned on Tuesday’s This & That a handful of weeks ago, I discovered Julie Vos beautiful chic jewelry collection. Abundantly full of stunning cuffs, classic hoops, elegant earrings and a long list of necklaces for day and evening, her designs epitomize simple luxury – very refined, yet subtle in their elegance to be worn with a variety of wardrobes.

Moonshined Designs – Simplistic Beauty

Moonshined Designs is a jewelry design business created by Cate Rubenstein whose talent will be exhibited in the upcoming London Fashion Week, Copenhagen Fashion Week, as well as Oslo’s Fashion Week.  Italy and Paris have also taken note, as she displayed her gorgeous work at Open Design Italia this past November and is currently in Paris gearing up for Éclat de Mode.

Utopia

With an appreciation for high quality and attention to detail, Rubenstein’s collections are handcrafted with 14, 18 or 20 kt pure gold, 925 sterling silver, as well as gemstones and leather.  With such simple designs, each detail, such as the clasp and every angle a piece of jewelry may be seen from once draped beautifully upon it’s client, is carefully attended to as to ensure that the item is absolutely stunning.

Feminine and delicate or a touch of street ruggedness, all of her designs embody Paris’s street fashion – classic, yet confident. While a native New Yorker, but currently living in Los Angeles, Rubenstein is perpetually inspired by all the intrigue and inspiration Paris has to offer. With the success of her business blossoming, she will be relocating to Paris later this year as to continually be motivated by all that the City of Light has to offer.

When I was first introduced to Moonshined Designs and Rubenstein, I initially was intrigued, but as I began to investigate further into what the premise of her business was, I was overwhelmingly impressed. While believing that only true beauty can come from within, Rubenstein feels that a touch of elegant sparkle can only enhance what already resides within each one of us.

“Philosophy of Aesthetics, or really, the Philosophy of Art, teaches us much about how art and beauty evokes emotion, or fails to. The subject has fascinated me for years. So one day I just started making jewelry—and it seemed to blend all this almost magically.”

Her creative intent doesn’t cease with the creation of the jewelry itself, but instead carries over into the description where she shares the qualities of the gemstones as to add a touch of empowerment and knowledge to the item each customer has chosen to wear.

Customs orders and trunk shows are something Rubenstein is more than willing to accommodate, and she recently announced that the Moonshined Designs’ website is now translatable in 59 languages in order to work with customers worldwide.
