Zac Posen – Resort 2012

The gowns, the gorgeous gowns and the unmistakable feminine silhouette revealed in them all. Zac Posen’s 2012 Resort collection looks like one for the red carpet. With floor length dresses full of layers and corsets and deeply luscious colors, along with numerous evening dresses and just below the knee pencil skirts with uniquely embellished button-up tops. Have a look and be entertained with model Coco Rocha’s many expressions and poses (half the fun is seeing how she will wear each outfit, I swear she tells an entire story with just one look).

Burberry Prorsum – Resort 2012

The blending of conservative traditional lengths and styles with bold colors and modern stilettos is what Christopher Bailey, designer for Burberry Prorsum, does so incredibly well and continues to display in the Resort 2012 collection. With the signature Burberry trench, Bailey added creative stitching and eye catching colors of emerald, turquoise, chrome yellow and magenta.

As to what direction Bailey was aiming to achieve, "We really wanted to emphasize this feeling of artisanal and decorative pieces that had been touched by hand, celebrating craftsmanship but always with this playful element." And he certainly did just that and makes me want to have an array of these fabulous coats in my closet.

Rachel Zoe – Resort 2012

Rachel Zoe’s doppelganger appears in the collection of photos revealing her new Resort 2012 collection.  With Zoe’s signature style of wide leg jeans, long sleeve blouses and maxi dresses, the collection is full of items that are very wearable and of course uber-stylish.

Quoted as saying she was staying in her comfort zone with this collection, she certainly did, and I argue, she knocked it out of the park with her sophomore collection. Have a look, I have a feeling you will find at least one item you could add to your wardrobe, and more than likely, many more.
