A weekend to kick-off holiday shopping, a weekend to burn off those extra calories you may have consumed yesterday while nibbling during Thanksgiving festivities, or a weekend to savor . . . simply savor.
Whether you find yourself decorating your holiday Christmas tree, spending time with friends or beginning to check off your holiday gift list, be sure to take a moment to stop, smile and appreciate the abundance that is at your fingertips.
In the rush of buy, buy, buy and hurry, hurry, hurry, the beauty of the season can sometimes be subconsciously forgotten. Take time today, tomorrow or anytime during the next five weeks to indulge in your favorite traditions, listen to your favorite sounds and partake in the activities that bring you and yours joy. After all, the foundation of the holidays is to indulge in the non-material gifts that we have year round, but often take for granted.

It is a nice sentiment to stop and remember why we are gift buying. Love the snowy pictures. It is getting warmer down here, but I must admit, the snow looks festive.
