Rachel Zoe – Fall 2012 RTW
"If you took Mick Jagger in the '60s and made him a woman, these things are what he'd be wearing — with a bit of Marianne Faithfull, Bianca Jagger and Jane Birkin thrown into the mix," Rachel Zoe said speaking of her inspiration for her Fall 2012 collection.
With long, svelte silhouettes donning suede knee-high boots, faux fur and sequin mini-dresses, Rachel Zoe’s first collection down the runway (previous collections were presentations) while predictable in many ways (loose, yet well-tailored and enamored with the late 60’s/early 70’s), was also quite well conceived as it revealed her love for the cropped leg pantsuit, established that faux fur should be a foundational piece to accessorize with and continued to remind us that a deep v-neck draped blouse is a mandatory layering piece. Have a look.

From what i know about Rachel Zoe from the media and her show I find so unappealing. I almost am forcing myself not to like her style... but this stuff is truly great. It hits right my fashion note. So many inspirations... Thanks for posting! I am forced to like something I want to dislike... Btw. are you on pinterest? it would be great to see your items if you are. Thank you! I love your blog.
