Jason Wu – Fall 2012 RTW
Forbidden City doors opened Friday night in New York City to reveal Jason Wu’s Fall 2012 Ready-to-Wear collection of Asian inspired attire. With bright reds, tassel earrings, touches of brocade texture and just enough expected Asian touches, coined by Wu himself as his “most luxurious” collection to date, it certainly seemed to find a balance of originality and commercial appeal. Wu, who was raised and lived in Taiwan until he was nine, has only recently returned for the first time just last year. Have a look at his collection that breaks from what he is known for – lady-like, modern, yet classically sophisticated, yet at the same time is still in tune with as well.
