St. John – Fall 2012 RTW

With spokeswoman Kate Winslet sitting front row, the fitted feminine fashions that St. John’s recently has shown transitioned to a wider pant leg, loose tops and foundational colors of black and gray supplemented with powerful, seductive reds, accessorized with touches of leopard for their Fall 2012 Ready-to-Wear collection. Inspired by the late Loulou de la Falaise, designer George Sharp drew upon her appearance of effortless chic style. Have a look.

My sister, Dorie, was a lead designer for St. John for many years. The brand has always stood for classic luxury and quality.
Kate Winslet represents the line beautifully!

Very nice outfits. They have to walk a tightrope between their older core customer and younger ones, and it's fascinating to watch.
