Giambattista Valli – Fall 2011 Couture

With the Paris haute couture shows beginning yesterday, I am always anxious for these collections as they can either dazzle, shock or fall flat unfortunately.  Giambattista Valli’s Fall 2011 collection  began with a dramatic confidence and was most definitely impressed critics and the public alike. With a sea of white, coral, red and black sheath dresses and evening gowns, along with gold accessories serving as belts and necklaces, the designs were feminine, full and flirtatious and this collection is most certainly deserving of a grand applause. (See the entire 45 piece collection here.)

The second coral dress and the red dress and gown are amazing. Someone has to wear the red gown to the Oscars or something like that, please!
