The Simply Luxurious Life®: Kate Moss’s Wedding Day

July 2, 2011

Kate Moss’s Wedding Day

In a dress created by embattled designer and close friend John Galliano, 37-year-old Kate Moss wed Jamie Hince in the Cotswolds on Saturday at St Peter's Church in Little Faringdon alongside 15 bridesmaids (including her 8 year-old daughter Lila Grace). With her hair styled in loose tendrils by Sam McKnight and her make-up more subtly done by Charlotte Tilbury, Kate is expected to be the September cover girl of Anna Wintour’s Vogue as photographer Mario Testino was there to capture it all (see him below in the car snapping photos as Kate makes her way to the church).

lovely, isn't it so nice that the brides of today are mostly choosing the simpler, less booffy gowns and veils, like Princess Grace, Duchess of Cambridge and in the Victorian era, Queen Mary. The lace is exquisite. As I make Christening Gowns, I am always excited by beautiful lace.x
