The Weekend . . .

I feel like the girl in this image – carefree, dancing in a clean house with a sigh of relief that the weekend has arrived and with it an opportunity to strive ahead with all of the might I can muster.

Are you as happy to see the weekend as I am? After sprucing up the yard, sweeping the porch and straightening the house, the next few days are mine, and I tend to revel in every minute.  With some time to sit down and write, some yoga and a new Barefoot Contessa, I will be in my element.
