Beautiful Bodies of Work
For Vogue’s annual shape issue (April), Mert & Marcus captured some of fashion’s most impressive model physiques. Lara Stone, Raquel Zimmermann, Natalia Vodianova, Gisele Bundchen, Joan Smalls and Daria Werbowy are styled by Tonne Goodman in shape revealing clothing from designers Zac Posen, Michael Kors and Vera Wang, just to name a few.

Any one of those first 4 pics would have made a better cover than the Rihanna one. I would've loved to see Lara's pic with the red dress on the cover, it's STUNNING! Can't wait to see everything that's inside this issue :) x
This issue of Vogue was amazing.
Christine & Pret a Porter P - I couldn't agree with you more. Lara's photo is amazing as is Lara Stone - uniquely gorgeous.
Belle de Ville - I have got to find time to sit down and really go through it. You've made me all the more anxious. :)
I think this was a very strong issue; I really enjoyed it. Loved Grace C's two editorials, and so many pages of gorgeous dresses. Also enjoyed the short article about Inès de la Fressange, who has been my girl crush for almost 30 years!
LuxeBytes - Okay, that settles it, I'm reading it tonight. You said the magic word - Ines - too much fabulous content to put off a day longer. Thanks for the info. :)
They are all works of art! Impressive!

It´s interesting that these girls´ bodies wouldn´t look that gorgeous in another context -- like Daria in the red gown. In real life she would look lanky, limb-y, too thin and overgrown. In the context of fashion she looks amazing, not only because we look for a different, more geometric beauty in models bodies, but also because the clothing and poses are meant to flatter exactly this body types.
