Ports 1961– Spring 2011 RTW
Designer Fiona Cibani for Ports 1961 is making it look easy. With the departure of her sister this summer who was at the post of creative director, the ease at which Fiona has created her daywear and cocktail attire appears almost effortless. Inspired by a trip to southern Tunisia to explore the Sahara, she incorporates the strong bold colors of the sky, land and sand in her designs. The bold jewel tones and sensuous use of ivory, gold and pale translucent fabrics bring the air of spring gently to the forefront of our minds. And while I haven’t included the entire collection, I barely narrowed it down to my favorites, as I found I was impressed with the many one shoulder designs and generous draping and many other beautiful looks. Have a gander below and do share what you think.

Wow, the draping, lines, and palette of this collection are DELICIOUS. So well done, modern, and lady like. I love it.
This collection is simply stunning! It's one of my favorites this season.
Hope you had a wonderful weekend. I'm just getting around to catching up after a weekend away :)
