And I’m Off!
Work is calling this week, but I’ll be making the most of it. I’m off to Portland for a week of both work and play. The four-star hotel is waiting, and I am more than ready.
. . . packed for any occasion that may present itself . . .
. . . scheduled in some time to just peruse the city . . .
. . . of course the mandatory time to work and be focused . . .
. . . time with friends I haven’t seen in far too long . . .
. . . and the luxury of having time to step away so that I can appreciate the life I have even more.
Have you had an opportunity recently or upcoming to have a brief respite from your day-to-day responsibilities? There really is something about being away that creates a growth of appreciation for the life you’ve created. I will be missing my dogs terribly, but feel confident that they are in very good hands, however, I will be trying to allow myself to let go of my responsibilities at home and just enjoy. After all, we all need to be re-energized from time to time.

I just ventured out of town last weekend for a change of scenery and some alone time. It was truly needed and totally recharged me!

Your week sounds absolutely divine!!!!! Jealous for sure, I have never been to poland, let alone a business trip farther then the closest office that isn't mine *le sigh* someday!
