An Abode in Boston
Homes old enough to hold a treasure trove of stories, anything (for the most part) dealing with Boston, hardwood floors and a slot for “Letters” in the front door grab my attention immediately. After all, in my own home it was the letter slot, the tremendous door knocker and the laundry shoot that remained in my mind as I was pondering whether or not to make an offer.
Old homes speak to you, they really do, and to live in one is something I am thankful for every day. This particular home, photographed by Jamie of From Me to You appears so regal, yet simple and warm, yet cloistered. Have a look. I’d love to know what you think.

What a lovely home. I love old homes and going on walking tours of them around NYC & Boston. I always try to envision them in a past life.
I absolutely adore Boston! I could walk around the city for hours & I've always secretly wanted to slip into some of the houses to take a peak at what's inside. Thanks for the sneak peak :) *Jennie B
What a lovely lovely home, it looks so beautiful and peaceful...
These are completely gorgeous. I walked past my dream home the other night ( a brownstone on the far west side of chelsea) and it's all I can think about!
Love these pictures.

Oh, I love these images. I especially love the doors! I want to visit Boston! I hope you are having a fabulous Monday!
Love the color of those walls!
Sweet home heaven. I've always said I'd never live in Boston - too cold during the winter for me.. but throw a real working fireplace in a home like this and I'll pack my bags asap.
Beautiful. Although I don't normally gravitate toward teal as a color, it really, truly works in this home!
