The Simply Luxurious Life®: Short and Sweet

Short and Sweet

There is just something magical about weekends isn’t there?  Granted they only arrive after five days of work, but without having put in productive effort that we can be proud of, the weekend wouldn’t be nearly as cherished. Hopefully this past week was short and sweet for you.  While it wasn’t short for me, it did seem to move rather quickly, and thankfully we have arrived at Saturday.

This weekend will be one of no appointments, responsibilities or demands from work.  Simply two days to do as I please, at the pace that is comfortable, mixing in a few naps here and there.  I’m smiling just thinking about it.

This past week on Simply Luxurious has been filled with posts providing all sorts of ideas and inspiration.  Just in case you missed something, here’s  a recap:

Monday’s Motivation:  In My Own Time

Fashion Inspiration:  Endless Legs – Viviane Orth – Vogue Portugal

Tuesday’s Rooms of Inspiration: Mirrors, Mirrors, and more Mirrors

From Across the Pond: Decadent Housewife . . . Shalom Harlow

Wednesday’s Why Not . . .?:  10 Tips on Creating a Lovely Life

Thursday’s Treasures:  Simple, but True

Fashion Magazine Cover: Vogue Paris - Meryl, Julianne, Bono & more!

Foodie Friday: Panko Crusted Shrimp & Herbed Mayonnaise

I’m Craving . . .:  A List of Items for a Pleasurable Weekend

Celebrity Decor: A Beach House with a View

Have a lovely Saturday.  Enjoy what you were unable to thoroughly immerse yourself in during the week.
