The first frost has come and farmers’ markets are wrapping up. All the more reason to scoop up the last fresh apples and bring them home to make a scrumptious comforting dessert.

Just a week ago, the trees were just beginning to turn colors and now a few gold gems decorate the sidewalks and streets. Before we know it there will be a blanket of beautiful hues to walk through enjoying the crunch under our feet.

I adore this time of year, pulling out my wellies, wrapping scarves more often and watching a game or two of the baseball play-offs. These are just a few of the activities that can only happen altogether during fall.
