Splurge & Save Outfit: No. 29

While I always prefer very classic outfits – dark denim or black pants, I wanted to mix it up a bit and include a touch of leather or embellished finish to regular black pants and jeans. So long as the other items are simple and not statement items, choosing a textured finish in your legwear is a wonderful way to freshen your look, yet adhere to your signature style. And while maybe leather pants are not your preference, consider these or these and have some fun.

Also, a staple to consider in your wardrobe is the oversized boyfriend jacket. Remember to keep the balance in proportion and pair with a tailored pair of pants or jeans. Versatile for casual day attire or the subtle masculine touch to an evening outfit.

~And a quick note, though tonight (Thursday Oct. 17), save 25% on all SHOPBOP items with promo code INTHEFAMILY25.

I like that you added leather pants as a classic item. They truly are a classic. They could easily replace the black skinny jean for Fall and Winter.

I love these Splurge & Save posts! <3
