Style Inspiration: NYFW Street Style
New York Fashion Week has wrapped up for the season and the show has moved on to London and eventually Milan and Paris, but with the beautiful weather in the Big Apple, the VIP style stars were out in force. While we may not be able to afford all of the clothing they are often gifted, I always enjoy gaining inspiration and ideas on how to pull outfits together from my own closet. For example, Jenna Lyon (shown below twice) demonstrates that a simple pop of a beautiful color in one’s footwear can finish an outfit perfectly. Have a look and enjoy being inspired!

The most stylish is the pregnant lady.
I've seen some wonderful street style photos this week too.

Shannon - Love this post and your blog. My daughter has been so inspired by your blog too and has started one of her own, mostly about fashion and beauty products. She made the street style section of the New York Times yesterday:

Thank you for your blog which is a daily read. Best wishes for continued success.
Congratulations to Caitlin. She is beautiful and clearly very successful. I wish her continued success. Thank you as well for choosing to stop by TSLL. xo
I pulled a few photos from Vogue's Street Style feed that I loved. I often find seeing what other women are wearing more inspiring than the catwalk offerings. Now I'm going to take your advice and step away from the technology for a couple of days.
Have a great weekend!

Is the photo of Anna Wintour meant to be ironic?
