I have been wondering and waiting to see if author Peter Mayle would release a new book. Having read many of his travel memoirs and devoured The Vintage Caper a few years ago, I was ecstatic to learn that just this month, he has released a new fictional wine mystery – The Marseille Caper. Picking up where The Vintage Caper left off, wine sleuth Sam Levitt and love Elena Morales jet-set from Los Angeles to Marseille to become entrenched in another cozy mystery.

The Net-a-Porter annual end-of-the-season sale for the U.S. and Canada has officially begun, so of course I am scouring the website. While many prices are already reduced quite impressively, be sure to be patient as they will drop even further in a few weeks. However, the holiday party season doesn’t wait, that is why I wanted to share with you Vivienne Westwood’s Toga Draped Stretch-Jersey dress. Simple to accessorize – either with a beautiful belt to cinch your waist or a gorgeous statement necklace, pull on some fabulous high heels and within minutes you have a wonderful look for the evening.

Ever since Mireille Guiliano’s first book came out - French Women Don’t Get Fat, I have been smitten with the illustrations that accompanied the cover and the pages. The talent behind each of them is R. Nichols, and you can now bring them into your stationery library as well.
