The Weekend & Blog Facelift!
A weekend full of rest and leisure. A weekend full of time to peruse endless magazines, read ever further into books that are aching to be finished and rest my eyes that have looked at the computer screen far too much this past week.
However, I will not begrudge the time in front of the computer as it brings what you see today – a minor facelift for The Simply Luxurious Life. With the help of web designer Shari Miller from Little Blue Deer and the talented illustrating abilities of Inslee, a few minor changes have been made to help with quicker and more efficient navigation, as well as a more accurate depiction of the author behind the blog.
First, I’d like to share the updates that were made so that you’ll know where to find items that have been moved or tweaked:
*The social networking buttons (Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Tumblr, RSS, Email) are now located in the upper left-hand corner of the blog above the header.
*The Simply Luxurious Life bookstore which is full of books, magazines, beauty products, kitchen supplies, movies and music that I recommend is now located on the Recommendations page as well as the Book Reviews page.
*To speed up your scroll time while you navigate through the blog, you will now be able to see more posts in a shortened amount of time, and upon finding a post you wish to read, simply click on “Read More” to read the post in its entirety.
*The Lovely Sites list has been moved to the Recommendations page
*And with the opportunity to switch out the simply luxurious woman to fit the season or occasion, the logo you will now see on all the social networking sites will simply be “SL” on a white background as you see below.
I don’t know about you, but I’m ready to relax, recharge and unwind. In case your week has been a bit busy, here is a look back on the past week on The Simply Luxurious Life:
