The Simply Luxurious Life®: Burberry Prorsum – Fall 2012 RTW

Burberry Prorsum – Fall 2012 RTW

With a unique revision of the pencil skirt, adorned with a single large ruffle cascading down the front, newspaper boy caps, belted bow waist-lines and t-shirts displaying woodland birds, Christopher Bailey’s designs for Burberry Prorsum’s Fall RTW 2012 collection remained youthful, yet regal as he melded outdoor pastimes (hunting and horseback riding) with the urban chic, trend-setting style.

Concluding the show with a stream of models carrying umbrellas as snow fell on the runway (similar to his last fall collection), Bailey is becoming quite adept at drawing a star-studded crowd – Anna Wintour, Rosie Hunting-Whitely, just to name a few.
