Cups of Tea 9/19 - 9/25

How quickly the weekend does seem to fly by when it is thoroughly being enjoyed. Hopefully this morning you are able to find some time to unwind, catch up and just be.

Today, I am looking forward to sipping a bit of tea of course, but also getting outside as I genuinely love the temperate weather of fall.  Keeping in tune with the recent arrival of the season, this week’s Cups of Tea includes a few posts that share a recipe using the fruits of the season, as well as a favorites list of what most of us are just about (or already) enjoying.  Also today, you will find inspiration by way of the iconic and fabulous Audrey Hepburn and a hotel you will want to pack up your bags today to go visit if only the schedule would allow.  So take a deep breath and kick up your feet, grab yourself a cup of warmth and enjoy.

1. A Luxurious Place To Stay

This gorgeous penthouse in Monaco is truly luxury personified.  The master suite alone is enough to take breaths away, but the entire photo collection will honestly knock your socks off. Andrea of House of Design and Style shared Architectural Digest’s photos of this magnificent home recently and I must say fabulous find.

2. What Would Audrey Do?

Mandy author of The Single Woman  column which can be found in a local Tennessee newspaper shares a delightful post on how the much adored Audrey Hepburn might tackle a handful of different situations.  Have a look and see if you agree. And if you are an aficionado of inspiring aphorisms, be sure to follow her on Twitter as well.

3. Lovely Things About Fall

Fall is officially here and with it, at least in the Pacific Northwest, it seems that Mother Nature was paying close attention.  The days are consistently a bit crisper, yet the sun continues to shine. Peggy & Fritz  this week shared a post of a few of her favorite things about fall, and I must say I agree with each one.  Out of curiosity, what do you enjoy most about the season?

4. The Sweets of Fall

Speaking of fall, apples and pears are ripe for the picking whether you are able to go out to an orchard and have at the ladders and trees, or picking it up at your local farmer’s market. Sunday Suppers’ recipe for a Pear Crisp is a simple way to change up what I tend to gravitate towards – Apple Crisps.  A more mild flavor, but just as much fresh flavor.

5. Life & Fashion Advice

Every Monday, Tiffani of Accidental Chic posts a Mantra Monday, and it really is something that is helpful in empowering her readers through their week.  Short and to the point, it instantly grabs your attention with her choice of visual and a catchy phrase.  This particular quote, while pulled from a few months back is something that I think must never be forgotten.  Truly getting to know yourself  allows you to feel comfortable in the clothing you choose to wear because you are wearing it with confidence. Thank you again Tiffani for the lovely reminder.

Have a beautiful Sunday everyone.
