Julia Roberts – Elle US – September 2010
I don’t know about everyone else but I have been giddy with the choices for covergirls on all of the September issues so far (Jennifer Aniston, Kate Moss, Gisele Bundchen, Drew Barrymore, Emily Blunt).
Now, all that I wait for is the knowledge of the elusive Vogue cover. Will it be Halle Berry as so many suspect? Either way, Julia Roberts on the cover of Elle US is a treat. Having read Eat Pray Love by Elizabeth Gilbert, I at first didn’t feel I needed, or wanted, to see the film as I was worried it would ruin the book, but upon hearing that Roberts was the lead actress, I immediately changed my mind. Being released this coming Friday, August 13th, Eat Pray Love is sure to inspire and give you an opportunity to look into your own life to see if you are heading down the path that allows your true person to shine.
Julia evokes images of the three overriding themes from the book in Carter Smith’s photo shoot for Elle. To read a bit more about the article that accompanies it, click here.
Three covers to choose from, which would you prefer?

Isnt's she gorgeous? Trust the lady is well. x
wow agree, agree and agree! the book did change the perspective of many things in my life and her journey was more than inspiring! i was also afraid of the movie version but now i can NOT wait for friday to watch it! and yeah... they couldn't have found a better actress than julia roberts! as far as the magazine cover i wish they had use her look with the red embroidery tunic or maybe the kimono, would look very much with what i picture elizabeth wearing in her many trips around Asia!
ok so flattered you will share one of my posts, can't wait to see it, and if you ever in california i would be more than happy to direct you to great food and well designed spots!
She is so beautiful; has always been a favorite. I love the 5th photo, she look stunning. The kimono, her hair, the colors, that should be magazine cover art. But since it's not, I'll take the middle mag image, where she's looking away, pretty.
Incredible photos...so, so beautiful! I read the book and loved it. Can't wait to see the movie...it looks incredible. But then again, anything Julia Roberts touches is.
