Style Inspiration: Ageless Style
Just this past weekend I was having a conversation with my mother, and the topic of style came up. What we discussed was a reminder that style, true, simple, classic style is ageless. How? When a woman knows what clothing flatters her figure, allows her personality to shine through and not the labels and then adds a punch or a hint of her own personality, it is impossible for chic style not to be exhibited.
Today I’ve gathered together a variety of looks worn by a woman of varying ages. All of them radiate beauty, confidence and pizzazz. What do you think? Have a look.

Its a post by a blogger on the so called classics of today were not in style in the last century, and how classics became classics. Very interesting read. For anyone interested in fashion and history.

Love it! I feel like in a post like this, Iris Apfel MUST be included! I am not sure that I would call her style "classic" but she is so stunning and just rocks her signature style regardless of her age...something she has become an icon for. Love her!
Hi I need an advice, i have saved a bit over 3000 US $ do you think it is a better idea to buy a costly handbag or update my wardrobe ? And if you go with the handbag any suggestions for smthg that lasts couple years

The cognac bag is from Zara, and while it is no longer available on the US site, the two bags I found above in the scroll are quite similar.
Great question, and it really depends upon what you are most in need of and what can wait because both will be attended to eventually.
With that said, if you choose to buy your investment bag, be sure to buy it in person. Get a feel for the bag, touch it and make sure it is what you want as it will be with you a long time. The August issue of Elle UK (pg 118) has a great article on go-to work totes. I highly suggest reading it.
Mulberry, Celine, Reed Krakoff, Saint Laurent are a few of the bags I have had my eye on as dream purchases, but I would just take your time shopping around, reading reviews to see what speaks to you and your lifestyle.
Honestly, if I were in your shoes, I would spend about half on a top quality bag, and the rest on one or two items for my wardrobe because a bag will always be something you'll need.
