~The Perfect Start to Your Day: Delicious Recipes for Breakfast and Brunch by Tonia George

I must admit, breakfast is my favorite meal of the day and the treat of a scrumptious brunch is a very close second. Tonia George’s book The Perfect Start to Your Day, which is also found at Anthropologie, shares recipes for any occasion in which the day begins – a quick, yet healthy breakfast before work, a decadent brunch for friends or weekend breakfasts that allow you to indulge a bit more. Fresh, sweet, savory as well as healthy, she includes a little bit of everything.

~Kerrie Hess Illustrations

You may be wondering where you’ve seen Kerrie Hess’s fashion illustrations because most likely you have come across them without realizing it. The Australian born illustrator has worked for Kate Spade, Vogue, InStyle, Neiman Marcus and Net-a-Porter, just to name a few of her top tiered clients. Creating original Parisian inspired illustrations, Kerrie’s talents are a sight to enjoy.

~Kitchen Tech Ideas

~Williams-Sonoma Smart Tools Kitchen Stand for Tablets

When Williams-Sonoma’s most recent catalog arrived last week, I ear-marked the handful of tech items for iPads in the kitchen. I regularly bring up a recipe I want to try or that I have shared here on the blog on my iPad, precariously prop it up in my kitchen and get busy chopping, whipping and baking. Williams-Sonoma’s tablet stand allows you to place in a no-slip stand that holds vertical or horizontal your device and doesn’t take up much space when it isn’t being used. For a reasonable price, this is a great gift for the techie chef in your family.

~Cream Cheese Coffee Cake

Nibbling on decadent coffee cake in the leisurely morning hours during the holidays is a very sweet treat indeed, and when I discovered Just Baked’s recipe, I saved it immediately. The swirl filling and crumbly goodness was an attention getter that needed say much more.

~Shopping

~Hurley’s Navy Slicker Jacket

Navy is a classic color that works with many different wardrobe choices, and even when the weather is drizzling or down pouring, Hurley’s slicker jacket will keep you dry and keep you looking stylish.

~Travel Accessories

~Cuyana Leather Passport Case

Going through security lines while traveling can become a tedious task if you are having to constantly search for your ID and passport and then carefully place them back into separate compartments all the while trying to keep track of your ticket. Cuyana sells beautifully made leather passport cases in a handful of different colors, and with a red one like this, it won’t easily be lost and it will keep all of your important documents in one place.

I am so in need of a kitchen ipad stand. Right now I'm sticking it in the fruit bowl and wedging it between oranges and pears.

I love breakfasts....fave meal of the day for me and I could just eat eggs benny all day long. I adore that navy jacket! I have a tan and black one in that style, good to see it in another color.
