Donna Karan – Resort 2013
Donna Karan’s 2013 Resort collection is a testament to the fact that inspiration can be found anywhere. "Sit around and play with napkins long enough, and all of a sudden, you have a dress." With her customary hues of black, gray, nude and white, she included as well the feminine pink shade customary to Elsa Schiaparelli’s liking. With asymmetrical necklines, silhouette draped dresses, gowns, skirts and suits, the uniquely placed pleats keep her collection skillfully simple, but utterly impressive. Some of these looks are kind of Armani, aren't they?
I can certainly see a similarity - clean lines, basic colors and beautiful silhouettes. Yes, most definitely in step with Armani's approach.
Oh my gosh...she has knocked it out of the park! I love every single piece!
