The Weekend . . .
A weekend for staying at home. A weekend for sleeping in, reading the magazines and books that are begging to be given a bit of attention. A weekend for dreaming about my spring wardrobe, and a weekend for enjoying the simple rituals that these precious two days off bring.
Whether it be dinner with new friends, sprucing up the yard as the anticipation for spring to arrive heightens or picking up the house, there is something about staying at home on the weekend that has a sweet simplicity to it. However you choose to spend your weekend, I hope it re-energizing you. I hope it leaves you feeling better than the work week did, and I hope you are able to revel in a few very sweet pleasures.
