Shoe Fix: Luxury & a Bargain
Yesterday, Keep It Chic shared the gorgeous pair of Vionnet heels just below, and I began to search the internet for a pair resembling them at a fraction of the price. Ideally, I would snatch this beautifully signature heel up in a heartbeat, pair it with a simple black cocktail dress and instantly feel pulled together, stylish and sophisticated. However, the reality is a bit different, but that doesn’t me fabulous shoes shouldn’t be worn every day. Because as we all know, a woman’s shoes strike a tone, command a quiet presence and boost our confidence when we know that what we have chosen will help us exude our best selves to the world we meet on any given day.
With all of that said, I’ve found two sets of shoes today – a heel and a flat – both of which are partnered beside their counterpart – a luxuriously fabulous choice and a bargain that does a very decent job of pulling its own weight. After all, a little shoe therapy in the middle of the week is always a nice distraction.

Umm, I have to agree with Christine... However, I do like the Aldo pair as well. :)
