Splurge & Save Outfit: No. 8

Summer holidays are nearly upon us and I am itching to wear the seasonal attire – nautical stripes, white cropped pants, maxi dresses and more. Last weekend a new purchase of Levi’s denim jacket (included in today’s SAVE outfit) arrived, and I couldn’t have been happier with the purchase. For less than $50, the dark denim jacket includes cotton-stretch fabric with long sleeves and a slightly feminine cut (no boxy denim to be wary of).

Another versatile item that I recently added to my wardrobe and look forward to wearing this summer and then into the fall is Tibi’s black and white silk blouse (included in the SPLURGE outfit above). On sale, this classic print works perfectly with white, black or dark denim and for the work week, a classic black pencil skirt or any color you prefer is simple and sophisticated.
