The Weekend . . .

After a handful of busy weekends, the last weekend of my favorite fall month is mine. Mine to plop down into a cozy chair, indulge in the comfort of a crackling fire in my great room and catch up on the pile of magazines and past newspapers that are aching to be paged through. And while I will be taking this weekend off from blogging to help percolate my creative juices, I have not forgotten about my emails received from you addressed to AskShannon. Thank you for your patience, as I will be addressing each of them this weekend. Be sure to check your inboxes.

Now for this week on the blog. On Monday, I shared with you my journey to Detroit a few weekends ago and debuted my simply luxurious design for a dream Buick Encore. If you haven’t done so already, do stop by my pinboard and “like” any of the images or the board itself you most enjoy as the top five bloggers will move ahead in the competition where finally the top design will actually be assembled and debut at the launch of their new compact luxury utility vehicle in March 2013. It was an amazingly fun and whirlwind experience as we were spoiled by their accommodations, and quite fortunate to meet other amazing bloggers

Even more exciting and unexpectedly so was the warm reception of one of the most popular posts-to-date on the blog. Why Not . . .
