Paris Fall 2011 RTW Highlights

Paris Fashion Week was full of creative, dramatic, and fantastic designs this past week. Aside from the collections as a whole that were full of luxurious and simple, classic designs highlighted here this past week – Valentino, Stella McCartney, Zac Posen – I’ve gathered together a smattering of looks from collections that had a few select stunning pieces. From the designer Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen’s dramatic and exquisite wedding gowns (perhaps a hint at a royal wedding showcase?) to Karl Lagerfeld’s dark street style inspirations for Chanel and then to to collections that always hold a pot of gold – Balmain, Isabel Marant, Chloe, Alexis Mabille and more. Have a look.

I always focus so much on decor, but there are so many interwoven relationships between decor and fashion! Loved seeing this recap of the Paris Fashion Week. Chloe and Chanel capture my interest (from this post) - off to check out the other posts.

I truly enjoyed following the runways, and found it quite impossible to choose a favorite, or even favorites... most of the lines had at least one piece that I truly loved, and some, several! Thank you for the lovely roundup...
