1. 7 Ways to Stop Fearing what Other People Think of You

“If you care about what other people think, you will always be their prisoner.” What a very profound way of describing the time wasted worrying about what other people think. Marc and Angel dive deeper and reveal even more enlightening reasons to sincerely let go and let yourself live.

2. One Soufflé at a Time: A Memoir of Food and France by Anne Willan

Released last month, the founder of La Varenne Cooking School in Paris and Burgundy, Anne Willan shares her French recipes and the stories of her journey through France from Yorkshire in her cookbook/memoir One Soufflé at a Time: A Memoir of Food and France. With support from Julia and Paul Child as the culinary school began in 1975, the school remained open until 1991. While she still offers classes occasionally in Los Angeles, Willan’s book and blog, La Varenne, continue to offer the culinary talents that led her to be the associate editor of Gourmet magazine and receive multiple James Beard international book awards for her international cookbook and photography.

3. The Luxury Traveler's Handbook

When Sarah and Terry Lee’s handbook for traveling in luxury came across my path, I had to take a look. A workbook of essential details, readers will find tips on how to find the best deals online, how to upgrade, how to find luxurious accommodations, how to travel safely and so much more. A worthwhile resource to have at your fingertips as their worldly experience is vast and impressive.

4. Diana

Now to all of my UK readers, I am eager to know what you thought of this film (as it debuted in early September in London). The reviews so far from across the pond have not been anything to write home about, but I must say, I want to see for myself. Set to be released in the states on November 1st, Naomi Watts portrays Princess Diana during the last two years of her life once divorced from Prince Charles. Based on Kate Snell's 2001 book Diana: Her Last Love, audiences are taken through the romantic liaisons with Pakistani heart surgeon Hasnat Khan and finally Dodi Fayed. Have a look at the trailer below.

5. Iris & Ink Rugby-stripe cashmere sweater

Cashmere, chilly fall and winter days and rugby matches seem to be a wonderful trifecta that can only come together during this time of year. And so when I discovered Iris & Ink’s cashmere striped sweaters (multiple colors), I put them on my wishlist. Pair with beat-up old boyfriend jeans, lined wellies, a few more warm accessories and functional style have been achieved.

6. Ivanka Trump ‘Carra’ chevron pump

With a modern chevron print in a classic color pairing, these black and white pumps would be a simple way to add an extra something unexpected to a basic black ensemble. Whether a black dress, a simple black pencil skirt or black denim, these heels will be in style for more than just one season.

Diana was OK. Just OK. An enjoyably escapist rehash of a story we all know plus some shameless fantasising.

Odd to see all those familiar scenes outside KP. I was pregnant with my first child and remember the absolute disbelief and shock.
